We have a GREAT neighborhood! Everyone is friendly and willing to let their kids play together outside while we all hang out and chat. It's not unusual for 5 or 6 kids to collect on our front lawn and play until bedtime. Yesterday our neighbors put out the slip n' slide and that was a huge treat for the kids.
Nate wishing he was big enough to slide this year. He had to settle for a little splashing.
Logan wasn't to sure but did make a go of it a few times.
Of course, we adults jump in the fun too!
After having dinner with our neighbors (Zak made Stromboli!) we decided to have a campfire night, which led to s'mores, banana boats, and sparklers.
It was another great day with wonderful friends and good laughs. I know that we will miss everyone here dearly when we move. In fact, one of Logan's little friends has been telling her folks that she plans to give Logan a big goodbye smooch (she's 3)!
