Father's Day turned into a very relaxing day. Zak had just come in from work late on Friday and was heading out Monday morning so we decided to keep it low key and just enjoy being together. After church, we did a few errands and then met Martin and Karen at their pool. It was a little chilly but we swam long enough to wear out the kids and return to their house for naps. We had a wonderful grilled dinner (the first of the summer for us since our grill died last year) and just enjoyed talking and hanging out.
Of course, a game of snappy towel was in order.
We haven't seen much of Unc since he started working in Florida so it was especially nice to visit with him for the day.
Logan picked out a card for Zak this year and it was a Spiderman Father's Day card. He was so proud of himself and could barely contain himself trying to wait to give it to him.

What a great day spent with two great fathers...godly men who love their families. Meghan and I are truly blessed.
