Nate Turns TWO!

On September 13th, Nate turned 2! We just had a small party for him at home this year but it was still a lot of fun. Nate is a great kid. He is all sunshine and rain. We never have to guess how Nate is feeling about anything. He's quick to love us with sweet hugs and kisses and just as quick to scream and give me the business. I love hearing his little voice say, "Love you Momma." This past year has been a big one. He's gone from baby to toddler in every sense of the word.

.Nate LOVES puppies. He stands at our front window and talks to the dog next door (Scarlet) all the time. Zak keeps telling me that he'll be the driving force for us to get a dog. I agree with that statement and think maybe when he's big enough to help take care of the dog that we can talk about it.

Logan got Nate a Sit N' Spin. I loved this as a kid and I think eventually Nate will catch on. For now though, Logan gets a kick out of it.

Nate is a big fan of Micky Mouse so we got him a little bike that he can peddle himself.

Someone thought it would be a good idea to give Olivia cake. I am not going to name that someone but they should know better. Okay, so that someone was me! I mean, really, she's got to get ready for her first birthday!

Logan and I made a rainbow cake this year. Not fancy, but we had a lot of fun doing something special for Nate.

Note to self: Have Zak take pictures of me so the kids know I was there!
