Boo @ the Zoo

We went to Boo at the Zoo this year. It was really a lot of fun. They decorate the entire Zoo and set up stations for the kids to go to. This year there was a Hay Maze, Pirate Play adventure show, puppet shows, Monster Mash dance party, trick-or-treat safety in the clinic, and the list goes on and on. We had a great time taking Logan around and plan to make it a tradition to go each year. It was pretty chilly so I had Nate bundled and blanketed.

The dance party included smoke machine...

Logan front and center on the dance stage.

Logan started out as a knight but as the night progressed he took off his costume and layered up in sweatshirts. The bunny ears are compliments of the energizer bunny.

These robots were very cool. Their costumes had bright lights and made all kinds of noises.

Poor Nate, the line for the changing table was long, so he got an outdoor change on a picnic table (about 40 degrees outside). You can see, he's confused by the choice.

Even though we are both tired, it's great to get out of the house and start enjoying each other as a family of four. Logan had a blast, Nate slept all cozy, and we parents enjoyed the crisp fall weather with our beautiful boys. Life is good.

Meghan,
I love the pictures and stories as usual. Also, I have to say -- you look really beautiful in these photos. You look happy and bright-eyed, and that red vest looks super-cute on you.
Thought you'd like to know!
Love,
Rachel

Yes, you do look so pretty Meghan. Really like the new doo and the Aunt Terry vest is looking good.

And Logan, get down with yo bad self! I think he may have picked up some of my dance moves. Sorry (not really).

Nate, Dude! A 40 degree diaper change. There are no words but sorry, but it was necessary.

Watching Logan dance I have that Mastercard commercial in my head, the one with the kids with backpacks on. "We want the funk . . .", and busting out a little robot action.
