As part of our weekend of fun, we spent Sunday afternoon with the kids at the Pittsburgh Children's Museum. It turned out to be a really fun relaxing visit because the place had only a handful of kids in it and ours were able to do everything they wanted at their own pace.
This was Sophia's first trip and she was a real trooper through the whole thing.
She especially like the nursery floor that had lots of hands on activities at her height.
In the Garage, they had a building area. Alex made a very involved airplane while Logan and I attempted to make a rocket and ended up making a party hat instead.
Sorry, couldn't help myself!
They have a huge climbing net that takes you to another level of activities and slides. Logan made it the whole way up even though it scared me a little since it was so steep. His legs were shaking but he kept going.

Logan in the provided water gear. Gotta' love the girly sandals they had in his size!

Logan's favorite room was the arts room.
They did sculpting, printing, painting, and more.

Grandma doing her lap duty.
The museum is really fun for the kids and equally exhausting for the adults.
They did sculpting, printing, painting, and more.
We had such a nice afternoon and then we tossed Logan in the car and drove home to Ohio. (Thanks Shannon for bring Grandma and the kids down to Pittsburgh!) It made for a long day but we were glad to have the chance to be with family and let Logan have some fun with his cousins. Although we always put alot into our weekends when we visit, it is worth it for the kids to get a chance to bond and make memories together.
